Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: — We held our usual fortnightly sale in thi Ohaupo yards on 22nd inst., when the advertised numbers came forward. We quote: —2 year empty heifers £4 10s to £4 15s, empty cows £4 Is to £4 2s (3d, 18 month steers £4 3s, yearling sters £3 6s, yearling heifers £3 Is to £3 10s, calves. 32s Gd.
We held our monthly sale in the Matamata yards on 23rd inst. : when we had an average yarding. Bidding was brisk and all lines were quitted under the hammer. We quote: -Fat cows, heavy weights £6 16s to £7 12s Gd, do. light weights £5 to £6 2s (id, fat, bullocks, light weights £7 Gs, forward three year bullocks £6 7s fid, forward two and a half year bullocks £5 15a, forward empty cows £4 3a to £4 17s 6d, store cows £3 to £3 15s, forward empty cows two year empty heifers £4 10s to £4 18s, yearling stesrs £3 tu £3 Gs, yearling Jersey-Holstein heifers £4 to £4 5s springing heifers closs to profit £6 30s to £8 2a Gd, heifers backward £3 17s Gd to £4 10s, Holstein bulls 4 to 6 guineas, Shorthorn bulls 7 to 10 guineas, Jersey bulls 4 to 7 guineas, fat wethera 21a Gd to 23s 6d, fat ewes 19s, ewes and lamb 3 21a 6d, hoggets 13s 2d, draught mare, aged £l2, porkers £2.

Cheese.--The market is d:;ll and transactions very liimted. Canadian white (i-fs, coloured (ios.
Hemp.—The market remains firm, and is stronger in tone owing to the business which has been done. Keports from Manila indicate that prices are likely to advance. New Zealand, gocd fair grade £3M 10a, fair grade £32 10s; fair current Manila 10s for any position. The output from Manila for the week was 13,000 bales.
Cocksfoot Seed. —• The market is quiet but shows signs of improvement. Wool.—The market remains firm. Current quotations for Bradford tops are: —36's low crossbreds 1 J.;d, -Hi's low crossbreds 15d, 44' a medium crossbreds IGd, 50's halfbreds I:id--56's quarterbreds 21:ld, 00's merinos 26id.
