WEDDING BELLS.

A very popular wedding was solemnised at Pio Pio on September 30th, by the Rev. E. S. Wayne, of Te Kuiti, assisted by Mr Wallace, the contracting parties being Miss R. Iladden, of Wellington, only surviving daughter of the late Rev. Hadrian, D.D., and Mr E. Dunne, late of the 14th Hussars, Imperial Regiment, and second 3on of Mr Dunne, England. The bride, who was given away by Mr H. Smith, looked very dainty. She was attended by her little cousin, Miss Freda Cornelius. The duties of best man were performed by Mr T. J. Dunne, brother of the birdegroom. In the evening Mr and Mrs Dunne held a reception in the form of a ball, at the Town Hall. It was a most enjoyable fucntion. An ample laid-out supper was provided. Congratulations and good wishes were showered upon the happy couple, who were the recipients of many useful gifts.
