PIO PIO.

Own Correspondent. In spite of the unfavourable weather there was a fair yarding at the first cattle sale of the season, held here on Wednesday last, and the prices all round were very fair. The first wedding to be solemnised in Pio Pio is to take place next week. This will cause quite a stir in our midst, and I am sure the public will with me, wish the couple every happiness for the future. Our roads are getting almost impassable, and if the weather continues as it is at present (Saturday), I fear our malis will have to be packed, as there is no doubt a limit to the powerg of both man and horse, and I hear our coach drivers are agitating for flying machines, which would no doubt be appreciated by all who are unfortunate enough to have to travel.
