We are indebted to Mr T. E. Foy for the following account of the rainfall at Te Kuiti for the month of September: — September Ist .41 inches, 3rd .21, 4th .33, sth, .52, 6th .14, 7th .31, Bth 52 9th .17, 10th .36, 11th .45, 12th '43' 13th 1., 14th .75, 15th .01, 16th "1$ 17th .08, 19th 1.08, 20th 6.8, 2lWt .58, 22nd .22, 23rd .48, 24th .33, 25th .34, 26th .06, 27th 1.10, 28th 2.3; total rainfall for 26 days 10.07 inches; rainfall for September, 1910, 2.95 inches on 14 days; for 1911, 3.70 inches on 12 days. RAINFALL ELSEWHERE. Auckland, Tuesday. The rainfall for the month of Sep' tember was 5.53 inches, bringing the total for the year up to 48.15, inches as compared with 31.23 inches for the same period last year. Waihi, Tuesday. The rainfall for Waihi for the month of September amounted to 14.15 inches. The average in previous years was 7.42 inches. Rain fell on 27 days during the month.
