LAWN TENNIS.
The adjourned annual general meeting of the Te Kuiti Lawn Tennis. Club was held in the Chronicle office on Monday evening last. A small number of members attended. The financial statement, as read by the secretary, was approved. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President Mr Foy; vicepresidents, Mpssrs Julian, Webber, N. C. Matthew and H. R. McDonald; secretary, Mr Robinson; treasurer, Mr N. C. Matthew; committee, Mrs C. Matthew, Miss I. Graham, Messrs Semm'ens, Clapham, Wallace, Arrowsmith and Harton. An invitation was received from the Mangapehi club to their opening ceremony on September 28, which was accepted with thanks. It was resolved that the committee should meet on the new courts without delay, to go into the matter of further improvements.
