Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report as follows: — We held our usual sale in the Ngaruawahia yards on Friday, 13th inst., when we had a good yarding and a successful sale, all lines being quitted under the hammer at satisfactoryprices.

We quote —Fat cows £5 12s (3d to £5 19s, forward cows £4 10s to £4 12s 6d, 2 to 2J< year steers £4 13s to £4 14s, 3 year steers £6 4s, 18 month tu 2 year steers £4 to £4 7s, 2 year empty heifers £4 2s to £4 7s, good calves £2 lis, bulls £3 12s, cows close to profit £7 15s to £lO, backward cows £4 10s to £5 10s, heifers close to profit £6 to £8 10s, backward heifers £4 to £5 15s.

We held our monthly sale in the Cambridge yards on Kith inst , when we had more than our usual yarding, and all lines offered were quitted under the hammer at advanced prices. We quote —Fat steer 3, small £8 to £8 10s, fat cows £5 ISs to £S 2s, forward cows £4 3s to £4 lis, empty cows in backward condition £3 to £3 15a, 3 year steers £6 6s, 2 year empty heifers £4 10s to £4 lis yearling steers £3 10s, yearling Holtsein-Jersey 3£ to 4gns, good calves 37s to 52s (id, cows close to profit £6 10s to £lO, heifers backward £4 15s to £6, 2 tooth store wethers 2s 6d, slips 2s 6d to 245, porkers 41s, cows in pig 3 to 4Jgns. We held our annual spring sale in the Cambridge yards on the 18th inst., when we had a fair entry. Bidding was brisk for all young and sound sorts. Aged horses, were not wanted. The top price secured at the sale was for a nice 6 year gelding owned by Nelson Bros., which realised £4B. We quote Heavy draughts 4to 7 years £32 to £4B, medium do. £2 to £27, aged draughts £5 to £l4, light harness horses £8 to £ls, hacks £7 to £lB, squibs and aged £1 to £6.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— Westfield, Thursday. Best dairy cows, close to profit £9 to £l2 15s, others £5 to £8 Is, heifers £4 Is to £9, empty cows and heifers £3 12s Cd to £4 15s, yearlings to 18 months hefiers £3 Is to £ Is, calves 22s 6d to 345.

Albert Yards, Friday. Heavy draughts sold at from £32 to £39, medium draught £2l to £3O, light har ness horses £8 10s to £lO, hacks £5 to £l, ponies 32 7s 6d to 50s. Papatoetoe, Saturday. —We held a clearing sale of Mr S. Crowhurst's live and dead stock. Notwithstanding the very wet day, there was a good attendance, and satisfactory prices were realised.

PaDakura, Monday ■ —■ Best dairy cows belonging to Mr J. Costar's, £l2 to £ls, others £6 10s to £lO, empty heifers £4 10s to £5 ss, calves 3s 6d to 40s. large quantity of sundries sold at satisfactory prices. Henderson, Monday Dairy cows and heifers £5 10s to £8 10s, grown steers £6 5s to £7 10s, 2 to 3 year steers £4 19s to £6 12s, yearling steers £2 10s to £3 4s, calves 20s to 455, empty cows and heifers £3 to £4 15s, beef at Westfield rates.

ANTWERP WOOL SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copy riff li\ London, Thursday. Wool. —The Antwerp sales have opened to animated bidding. Compared with the June sales, merinos were firm at the same rate, fine croasbreds five centimes, and common occasionally fifteen centimes higher.

Some 2143 bales of La Plata were offered, and 1723 sold. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., are in receipt of the following cable from their London office, under date 16th Septebmer, 1912:—"The list of arrivals is closed, and all our wools have arrived in time. New arrivals 170,000 bales, direct forwardings to maunfacturers •at Home or abroad, 56,000 bales, old stock 29,000 bales, 1430,00 bales left available for sale."
