BUILDING REGULATIONS.
QUESTION OF FRONTAGE. The matter of the sub-division of sections for building purposes was referred to at last night's meeting of the Borough Council when a plan of a proposed aub-divisiun came before the Council for approval. The frontage was considerably smaller than provided for in the by-law governing the building areas. Cr Julian said there was no doubt the by-law in question would require revision, especially with regard to frontage. He owned a two-acre section which possessed a 66 feet frontage and according to the by-law he could only erect one house on the section. That was manifestly ridiculous, and was calculated to retard the progress of the town. The Mayor said he quite agreed with Cr Julian concerning the frontage questiun. The matter should be brought up again with a view to making a more workable regulation.
