A joint meeting of tho sub-commit-tee appointed bv the Borough Council, and Sports Protection League, met in tho Borough Council Chambers last evening. . Matters in connection with a recreation ground having been discussed at length, it was resolved—That the borough Council be requested to endeavour to obtain authority to cut up and sell the present Domain, the proceeds of such sale to bo devoted to acquiring, under the Public Work* Act, twenty acres of suitable ground for'recreation purposes.
