The latest wireless message from the Allan liner Corsican, which struck a berg off the Newfoundland coast and which waa subsequently reported to be proceeding on her voyage, the damage being slight, is that the liner is unable to proceed. The message does not assign any cause for this. Grave anxiety is felt for her safety. It is not yet known whether the Canadian Pacific Railway Co'a. steamer Lake Champlain and the other steamer which was hastening to the assistance of the liner are anywhere near the vessel. > HUNDRED BERGS SIGHTED. London, Thursday. Atlantic liners report an exceptionally large amount of ice in the Atlantic. One vessel encountered a hundred large bergs, and another eighty mile of floes. The companies are abandoning the northern track. i
