TE KUITI DEBATING SOCIETY.

The debate on the Liquor Bill will be continued at to-morrow evening's sitting of the Parliamentary Union, when those present will be requested to express their views freely on the question at issue. The Bill is not a party measure and it is hoped to secure a perfectly free expression of opinion on the merit of the proposals. The Labour party in the House nas been gaininc ground steadily of late, and it is apparent that the full strength 01 the party is sufficient to carry a no-confidence motion. After Thursday evening it is probable the Ellison Government will be consigned to the Opposition benches.
