A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
The executive of the King Country Central A. and P. Association met in the secretary's office on Monday last. The following new members were elected: Messrs E. J. Snmerville, E. H. Newton and D. Fletcher. The district traffic manager wrote asking for further information re the complaint forwarded to him in connection with infection from sheep trucks. —lt was resolved that this matter be left in the hands of the presidsnt and Major Lusk, to forward further information, and to deal with the matter. A letter was received from the secretary of the Te Kuiti Racing Club informing the association that Messrs Howarth, Lusk and Vercoe had been appointed to meet a sub-committee from the association at ths Te Kumi railway station to go into the matter of extending the railway siding.-—Re-solved that Messrs Somerville, Shannon, Stevens and Matthew be appointed a sub-committee to meet the above, and that the mseting at the sta.£ion should take place at an early date. The president, vice-president and secretary were authorised to sign debentures.
