COLLIERY DISASTER.
IN A GERMAN MINE. OVER THIRTY KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copj-rißlit Berlin, Thursday. A colliery disaster is reported from Bochum, a Westphalian town not far from Essen. Over 100 were entombed by an explosion of fire damp, which was followed by heavy falls of coal. Seventy-five were rescued alive, of whom 16 were severely injured. So far 25 bodies have been recovered, While a number of others were incinerated by the flames. The colliery is now blazing fiercely, and canonot be explored. The number of deaths has not yet been ascertained, but it exceeds 30.
