TE KUITI HOSPITAL FUND.
The interest in the masquerade dance in aid of the above fund is increasing and the first appearance of the Te Kuiti Municipal Band will be in connection with the dance. The band will z.!ay a few. selections in front of the rink and considerable interest is being taken by the bandsmen t"- create as favourable impression as possible. During the coming week members of the ladies' committee will make a house to house canvass to secure promises for refreshments, etc., and ws> trust all approached will extend hearty co-operation to assist the fund. We point out to friends that the dance is not exclusively for fancy and poster costumes, but plain dress also. Masks will only be worn up to a certain time in the evening. Arrangements will be made for cloak room attendance, su as to minimise risks of apparel being misappropriated. Tickets for the dance can now be obtained from all storekeepers in the town.
