LAWN TENNIS.

The committee of the Te Kuiti Lawn Tennis Club met in the Chronicle Office on Friday afternoon last. Mr H. R. McDonald was appointed a member of the committee in the place of Mr Bartleman resigned. Mr Robinson was elected secretary and Mr C. Matthew treasurer.

It wa3 resolved that the work on the new courts be started forthwith. Messrs Matthew, McDonald and the secretary were appointed to go into the matter.

Accounts as presented were passed for payment. The secretary and treasurer were smpowered fco sign cheques.
