A RAGLAN REQUIREMENT.
Mr C. Johnson, chairman of the Raglan County Council, requested that a subsidy of £ for £ should be granted for metalling the ;Whata-whata-Karamu road. The work would coat about £3OOO. The Minister said he was anxious in all cases to assist settlers who were willing to help themselves and could endeavour to give effect to the request.
