FOOTBALL.
Dissappointment was felt in football circles when it became known from the King Country Union to the effect that they could not play the Maniapoto Rugby Union reps, at Taumarunui to-day. The local team had made all arrangements to travel and the cancellation of the match, late in the day, was both awkward and disappointing.
