TE KUITI DEBATING SOCIETY.

The Parliamentary Union in connection with the Debating Society will be held on Thursday evening in the Municipal Hall. The Land Settlement Bill brought down by the Minister for Lands, Mr H. A. Ellison, will be debated, after which the Labour measures introduced by Mr A. F. Howarth. Minister for Labour, will be dealt with. The Labour representatives have been gathering strength in the House, and it is anticipated an attempt will be made by tb«m to oust the Government. It is also rumoured that legislation affecting the rights of women will be introduced.
