HOSPITAL FOR TE KUITI.

LADIES' MEETING TO-MORROW.

FThe movement towards establishing a public .hospital for Te Kuiti is meeting with general support and a meeting of ladies is to be held in the Municipal Hall at 3 p.m. on Thursday to further the project. The Mayor will preside, and Mr Scholes, chairman of the County Council, and Mr Boddie, King Country representative on the Waikato Hospital Board, will attend the meeting. In order to raise funds to assist the project a fancy dress football match under the auspices of the Northern Union is to be held at Te Kuiti on Thursday. August Ist, and a plain and fancy dress ball Will be held in the Town Hall the same evening. Messrs J. H. Trinnear and J. B. Young are joint secretaries of the function, and are energetically organising matters in connection therewith.
