TE KUITI GOLF CLUB.

The meeting convened by Mr Mackay to form a golf club at Te Kuiti, was held in the Chronicle office last evening. A very fair number of enthusiasts attended. Mr E. O. Mac--kay presided. It was resolved unanimously that a club be formed, the following officers being elected: —President, Mr N. C. Matthew; vice-presidents, Messrs Mostyn Jones and T. E. Foy; secretary and treasurer, Mr Arrowsmith; committee, Mesprs Mackay, Simmons and Wallace; ladies' committee, Mesdames Mostyn Jones, A. C. Johnson? C. Matthew, Howarth. Wallace and Fitzherbert, and Miss Ellison. V The subscription was fixed at 10s for men and 5s for ladies.

It was resolved to affiliate with the Golf Union.

The matter of arranging the ground was left in the .hands of the committee.
