About 9 a.m. yesterday, Mr Loughnan, licensee of the Market hotel, heard a sound under the bed. Upon investigating he discovered a man whom he hauled out. The man said he was looking for another man. Mr Loughnan intiamted that he intended to search him, which was resented, and the man, evading the licensee, rushed into the passage. He. however, was caught again and handed over to the police. In his pockets were, found a quantity of jewellery valued at ,l'l'\ the property o( Mrs Loughnan and '-'- Hks in money. Accused was brought lie fore the Police Cuurt and remanded.
