ROBBING A CHURCH.
A, PRIEST'S MISAPPROPRIATIONS By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyri«ht Paris, Thursday. Abbe Piton, who had been missing from angers, in the Loire Valley, for three days called on the police at Lyons and asserted that he had been seized by a robber and carried off in a motor car. After his disappearance Piton's clothes were found on the bank of a stream labelled "Death to the priest." His desk was robbed of £2OOO, moneys of the church. Piton confessed that his Btory was an invention, and that he misappropriated the money.
