EXCHANGE OF TELEGRAMS. Auckland, This Day. A telegram sent to Mr Massey by the Premier in regard to the alleged utterance by Mr Massey that Mr Mackenzie could always he bought, has been received by the Opposition leader. "I sent a courteous telegram to the Premier asking him for his authority for his statement," said Massey last, evening. "In reply he has sent an offensive and insulting telegram. It has given the public a glimpse of the Premier in his true colours, and I am satisfied to leave the matter until we meet in Parliament."
