In the second innings Thompson scored .'M and Smith 37. SOUTH AFRICA v. SURREY. The South African scored 252 in their first innings, and dismissed Sur rey for IG3, Mayes contributing 44. Nourse secured four wickets for -It runs and Schwarz four for (>•!. The South African's second innings realised 117") Nourse. ■!!', Schwarr, 3S. Hitch took six wickets for 57 runs. Surrey scored SO for three, wickets in their second innings.
