TE KUITI LADIES' CLUB

At a meeting held in Kelvin House on Thursday evening, at which a fair number of enthusiasts attended, Miss V. Ellison was appointed secretary, and Miss Boddic treasurer for the ensuing seascn. A considerable amount of business was.discussed and it was decided to carry out the programme for the year in conjunction with the gent's hockey club. This step has been decided upon to strengthen both clubs. A committee of ladies and gentlemen have arrangements in hand for the opening match, which will be held on Thursday afternoon, May 9th, probably in Cotters' paddock. A practice match will be held next Thursday afternoon, May 2nd, and the hope is expressed that all interested will make a point of attending.
