Driving and Yarding, about 400 yards; head and bring back 400 yards, drive through ring, drive 75 yards- through one set of hurdles 10 feet apart, drive 75 yards and yard in a pen of 4 hurdles (one hurdle to be used as a gate and may be used as a wing); dog and worker to keep behind aheep and follow them through hurdles; time allowed 15 minutes. Points: Heading 7, bringing back 7, driving 8, styie at yarding 4, yarding 4, command 10. First prize £10; second £3; third £l. CLASS 11. (Local). Heading. Bring Back arid Holding, about 300 yards. Open only to competitors residing within the boundaries of the Ofiura County. Competitors to stand in ring, and on receiving signal from Flag Steward to start his dog; head sheep and haul to ring and hold them to the satisfaction of juuge. Time 8 minutes. Points: Heading 14, bringing back 11, command 11, holding 6, style 5. First prize £4 and Mr Brennan's gold medal; second £2; third £1; fourth 10s. CLASS 111. (Open) —Huntaway, about 400 yards, between three sets of flags, each Hag placed one chain apart, on a zig-zag course. Time 12 minutes. Points: Huntaway 8, command 10, style 6, noise 6. First prize £5; second £3; third £l. Special prize gold medal, presented by Messrs (Jarner and Broad of Egmont Border Kennels, will be presented to the competitor under 21 years of age scoring most points in any one event. Member's fee sa. Entrance fee, 2A per cent, on first prize each entry; non-members 5 per cent, on first prize each entry.
