Butter —The market is quiet and prices are slightly weaker. Average prices for the week are'.--Choicest New Zealand butter 1245, Australian 120s, Siberian 120s, Danish 1295, Argentina 120s. Cheese The market is steady. Average prices for the week: Finest New Zealand cheese 745.

Hemp.—The market is very quiet and no business is being done. The output from Manila for the week was 260,00 bales.

Hops.—The market is firm with improved demand for New Zealand hops. Prospects favourable for early shipments. Wool. —The market remains firm. * • The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneeing Company, Ltd., report: —At Ohaupo on April 2nd, we held our ordinary cattle sale and supplementary sheep fair.
