AMUSEMENTS.

EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY,

It would be difficult to find a fault

with the excellent programme of pictures presented at the IV Kuiti Town Hail on Tuesday night. The Kmpire Company have produced sonic splendid programmes in the past, hut, it is doubtful if any better than the one under review. The grand old Scottish story "Auld Lanp; Syne.'' with its abundance of pretty ami pathetic scene, was one of the finest tilings we have seen. Another picture that calls for special mention was the beautiful ly coloured "Flora and the Nymphs." Tills waa indeed a masterpiece. The programme from start to iinish was a splendid one, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the good audience present. Another entirely new one will be screened on Monday next.
