AMUSEMENTS.

EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY. The programme of; up-to-date pictures was again responsible on Monday night for a big audience at To Kuiti Town Hall. The different, items shown were good, especially the very lino views of the hue Ngaruawahia Keagfta, specially taker, for the Empire Company. These compared very favourably with the best imported films. ami mot. with a flattering reception. Another set. of views of scenes in and around Hamilton will he shown at. an early date. On Monday evening next another excellent programme will be presented, all the items being entirely new and of a most interesting and amusing description.

There was a good audience in the Town Hall last evening when Miss Thelma Petersen gave her concert. A full report will appear in our next issue.
