BUILDING SOCIETY FOR TE KUITI.

MEETING. A meeting to establish a Building Society in Te was held in Mr E. H. Hardy'a oifice last evening. Mr S. W. Fitzhei-bsrt was elected to the chair. After some discussion it was decided to establish a Permanent Building and Investment Society with a capital of £'-0,000 made up of 2000 shares of £') each. Shares to be paid for by monthly instalments of 2s 6d per share until naif paid up and to then be liable for calls of 2s Gd. A committee consisting of Messrs Hardy, Snadden and Fitzherbert was appointed to draw up tables for investment and borrowing shares. \ following provisional officers weri; appointed directors Messrs E. H. Hardy, R M. Somerville, Mostyn Jones, C. Stevens, J. R. Graham, F. D,arrow, and L. E. Brathwaite; bankers, the Union Bank of Australia, • Xfitd.; solicitor, Mr S. W.
