AWAKINO COLLIE CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of the Awakino Collie Club was held in the Farmer Club's Rooms on January 27th. The president occupied the chair. The date of this year'n trials was fixed for April Bth and 9th. The following officers were elected | for the ensuing year: Patron, Mr E. T. Battey; president, Mr Thomson, re - elected; vice - presidents, Messrs A. W. Budge. P. Battey, D. Tweedie, W. F. Kelly, Newton King, W. Jones, £J. Scott, A. Black, W. Black, J. E. Harrison, C. Leech, A. E. Bignall, A. H. Miles, N. C. Matthew, L. Fraser, L. Leech, A. H. Calvert, C. W. Crosa, J. Riddel!, C. Ward, J. Davidson, C. K. Wilson, M.P.. F. Iredale, Maddom, Smith, Briscoe, Brewer and Avery. The Collowing gentlemen were elected to the committee: Messr? J. Scott, D. Black, W. Spence, G. Dixon, R. Black, H. Kelly and C. Ward; fieldmarshal, Mr W. Kelly and secretary, Mr E. Paynter, re-elected. A concert will be held on April Stb and the annual Cullie Club ball will take place on the 9th.
