RIFLE ASSOCIATION MEETING.
The King Country Rifle Association is projecting its annua! meeting this year for February 24th and 2(sth at Taumarunui, and the event is being looked forward to with interest by shootists throughout the district. It. is necessary that funds should be provided for the purpose of carrying out the meeting, and the public are called upon to assist toward such a laudable obiect. A subscription list is again open this year for the purpose of assisting the meeting and contributions to the fund will be gratefully acknowledged. Last year the response was excellent and it is to be hoped a like amount of interest will be evinced this year. The fund has been opened with 2a 6d from a sympathiser.
