PIO PIO.

Own Correspondent,

A match between the Pio Pio Cricket Club and a team selected by Mangaotaki was played here on Saturday, resulting in a win for the former by 44 runs. Several local players showed good form with the bat, and the bowling of the locals was very good. Mr Wilson showed great form as wicketkepeer. The ladies are deserving of special praise for the splendid afternoon tea provided. It proved a very enovable afternoon to all. We should bo pleased if Te KuiD could get out some Saturday, and could guarantee them a good time and a severe punishing.
