EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY
There was only one opinion expressed concerning the monster programme produced by the Empire Company at the Te Kuiti Town Hall on Monday evening, and that was that for general all-round excellence, it ia doubtful if a better one has ever been seen in any of the New Zealand picture theatres. The big star, picture ' "Zigomar" fully deserves all the praise that has been lavished upon it —perfect photography, perfect acting and superb scenery characterised it from, start to finish. It is, indeed, a wonderful production and serves to Bbow what gigantic strides have been made in the art of cinematography since its inception The programme met with a most enthusiastic reception from a very large audience. On evening next, the managedwent announce another mammoth bill, included in which will be presented tbe great naval photo-play, "The Battle of Trafalgar," said to be really wonderful a picture; the well-known Irish drama "Rory O'More," and . many other first-class subjects will be screened.
