Jupiter Pluvius was again unkind tJ bowlers on Thursday last. Several interesting games were to have t been decided in the afternoon, including a challenge game between Lissaman's team and the holders of the Cochrane Ferns. Steady rain, however, set in during the morning and continued throughout the day. The following have been chosen for the club games to be brought off during the season: — Championship Singles. —Julian v. Porter, Cochrane v. Dransfield, Stevens v. Power, Holland v. Verrall, Williams v. Matthew, Paxton v. winner of Williams and Matthew match; second round —Petherick v. Jones.

Handicap Singles. —■ Chilcott 7 v. Williams scratch, Porter 9 v. Jones scratch, Dransfield scratch v. H. Matthew 10, Verral 7 v. Paxton 9, Castell 12 v. Rosenberg 12, Stevens 8 v.
