MAROKOPA.
Own Correspondent. A quiet but pretty wedding took place on January 3rd, at the residence of the bride's mother at Claudelands. .The contracting parties were Miss Dora Wratten, third daughter of Mrs W. Wratten, late of Martinborough, and Mr G. Lunie, of Marokupa. The Rev. A. Gow officiated. Misa Jessie Wratten was bridesmaid, and Mr Gflorge Henderson filled the role of best man. The bridergoom's present to the bride was a substantial cheque and handsome brooch, and to the bridesmaid a very pretty brooch. The bride was given away by Mr A. T. F. Wheeler. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at breakfast by Mrs Wratten. The bride wore a very pretty brown costume and hat to match. After the wedding party were photographed, the happy couple left by the express for Auckland, where the honeymoon is to be spent. In the evening tne large and spacious dining room was cleared, ana dancing and evening games were indulged in well into the early hours of the morning.
