He hit 19 fourers, and one fiver. His partnership with Minett produced 190. Bowling analysis: Crawford six wickets for 141 runs, Sterling one for eight, Quist one for 36, Hill one for 16. South Australia in the second innings have lost five wickets for 215 runs—Mayne 29, Dolling 66, Murray (not out) 29. Hill made 10 runs in the first and one in the second innings.
