MYSTERIOUS SHOOTING FATALITY.

Investigation has so far failed to elucidate the mystery of the death of the young woman, Mrs Perkins, and her husband's etep-brother, a boy named Bertie Gilmorc, who we™ found shot dead in their home at Casino, New South Wales. The scene ol' the tragedy is a small • cottage on the outskirts of the town of Casin. Perkins is a hunter by trade, and left homo in the afternoon. On returning ho heard two reports, ran into the house, and found his wife lying on a couch dead, with a four months old infant crying on her breast. His step-brother was lying on the floor, also dead. Distracted with grief, Perkins ran out shouting, "My poor wife is dead." There is a theory, which is difficult tq justify, that the boy was playing with the gun, and accidentally Bhot the wo*ian. Then, terrified, he committed suicide. Two guns were used. -13oih belonged to Perkins.
