DESECRATING A GRAVE.
OUTRAGE AT SLIGO. By Telegraph.—l'rcss Association.—OopyriKUt Received January 6, 9.55 a.m. London, Yesterday. The grave of a former M.P., John C. Macdonald, was opened at Sligo. The urn was removed from the oaken casket and the ashfes scattered. The opinion of the police is that the miscreants intended to steal the casket in the belief that it was silver.
