SECOND TEST MATCH.

AUSTRALIA'S TEAM. By Telesrapll. - -Press Association.—Coi>yvi'-rlit Melbourne, Thursday. For the second test match the Australian selection is the same 12 as for the first test match, viz.: Hill, Trumper, Bardsley, Armstrong, Hansford, Cotter, Whitty, Hordern, Carter, Kelleway and Macartney. Tweltfh man: Minnett. The final selection of the eleven will be made on Saturday. (Bardsley has notified that he will be unable to play owing to the injury to his ribs sustained in the N.S.W.Victoria match. Hordern has also stated that he will be unable to play, as he does not wish to interrupt the course of his business, but that objection may be disposed of; while it is also possible that Bardsley may be sound enough to play, the injury—a tearing of the rib ligatures—not being likely to cause tire left-hander any great inconvenience.
