TE KUITI SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The monthly meeting of Te Kuiti District School Committee \va3 held on Wednesday. Gth inst. In the absence of the chairman, Mr J. Walsh presided. Arising out of the visiting committee's report the question of the sanitary arrangements at the school was reported as not being satisfactory.— It was agreed that strong representations be made to the Borough Council on the matter. The committee felt that the children's helath must be looked after, and the sanitary arrangements satisfactory. The question of the children's annual -picnic was reported from the joint -meeting of teachers and sub-commit-tee It was agreed that it would be advisable to hold the same in the nfo'fyh of February. 1912.—As the -weather at present was not satisfactory this was agreed. "The headmaster's report showed the school to be overcrowded in some of the class-rooms, which handicapped the teaching.—After due consideration it was agree 1 that the secretary procure all information, and make application to the Education Board
