BOWLS.

Members of Te Kuiti Club have been indulging in a few games of late though for the most part the exceptionally severe weather has rendered steady play almost impossible. However, those who seized the opportunity when the sun was shining managed to enjoy a few heads occasionally. The local green is showing considerable improvement, but it is generally agreed that the ground will require to be worked up again and re-sown. This work will probably be undertaken at or near the end of the present season. The official opening by Te Kuiti Club has been fixed for November 30th. Invitations have been issued and a number of visitors from neighbouring clubs are expected to be present.
