It is with pleasure we notice that the Hall Committee is making a definite move with regard to the erection of a suitable buiiding, plans having been approved and tenders called. We have every reason to believe that this long-felt want will be speedily supplied, and we look forward to some enjoyable gatherings when the busy season is over.
The dairy company is paying out Sd per lb for butter-fat. The manager, Mr McDonald, is to be congratulated on the splendid article he is turning out, Doi points out of a possible 100 being the prevailing grade. This, if maintained, will place the A.D.C. brand in the foremost rank of creamery butters. Dairv farmers are realising the expediency of improving their herds, yet another pedigree Jersey bull is coming into the district to the order of Mr Townshend.
