AMUSEMENTS.
TAYLOR-CARRINGTON. The above company paid a return visit to Te Kuiti last evening, and were greeted by a full house, when they produced the "musical" comedies, "A Husband's "Night Out" and "A Lucky Irishman." The audience were not slow to appreciate the mirthprovoking situations in the latter, and were convulsed for tne greater part of the comedy. Mr Taylor and Miss Carrington, supplied the greater part of the fund of amusement. PRINCESS PICTURES. The usual weekly entertainment was given on Thursday evening to a large audience, when an exceptionally good programme was shown. The pictures were all new to Te Kuiti and that, with good music, helped to pass a pleasant evening. Next week the pictures will be shewn at the Alexandra Rink, which is being specially fitted up for the convenience of Mr Zainey's patrons. New seats, in the form of comfortable chairs and also a fire-proof room for the operating machine, which]will be placed further from the screen, thus showing the
pictures larger and to more advantage, and, in fact, making it an ideal place of amusement. The management are to be congratulated on their enterprise. An entirely new prorgamme will be shown and the prices will be the same as before.
