TENNIS.
The news that America is sending the cream of its players to take part in the Davis Cup contests, to be held at Christchurch this year will give rise to general satisfaction, and it is safe to predict that a record gathering of enthusiasts will congregate at the city of the plains to witness the games. However, the exhibitions of the great trio will b* of high educational value, and the benefit to the game in general should be immense.
