RACING COMMISSION.
NO ALTERATIONS DESIRABLE. j_lii TKLKGEAPII. —I'RKSS .WO;'UTION',] Wellington, This Day. The report of the Racing Commission, appointed to re-consider their report with a view to ascertaining whether certain country clubs excluded could be included, was iaid on the table of the House yesterday. The commission auote3 lengthy reasons against making any alterations in the Dominion and states that comments upon its reports shows that the commentators have, after glancing at th°. schedules, neglected to read the repurt upon which it was based, that the statement that country club 3 were not represented is contrary to the fact, and that certain other statements made regarding the report were a violent suppression of the true and a suggestion of the false. The re port, which is signed by Sir George Cilfford, with the full concurrence of all the commissioners, strongly protests against any alteration of or deduction from the daj-3 of racing allotted by them.
