BOWLING CLUB.

The usual meeting of the above ;Club was held at the pavilion on 25th jnst. The secretary reported that the wVide of the croquet ground had been got into order and that the ladies had a very successful opening day on the 21st inst. There were quite forty ladies on the ground and the function passed off very pleasantly. The ball committee reported that excellent arrangements were being made for the forthcoming ball, to be held in the Town Hall on Friday evening Messrs Matthew, Dransfield and Power were appointed a sub-commit-tee to arrange the dance programme .and attend to minor arrangements.
