EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY
Another magnificent programme was screened by the above company at Te Kuiti Town Hal! on Monday night, the different items of which were splendindly received by the large audience. The exhibition was, a3 indeed the Empire Picture Company's productions always are, a most enjoyable one, the applause and hearty laughter amply testifying to the fact that the entertainment had found favour with the audience. On Monday evening next Te Kuiti playgoers will be given a unique opportunity of seeing what is described by the Auckland papers as the most stupendous and magnificent production ever seen in that city, viz., the great] play, "The Fall of Troy." The film is over 2500 feet in length, and the play is enacted by over 800 actors. The scenes are said to be beautifully mounted, and the superb costumes and dazzling beauty of the picture makes it a veritable triumph in the art of cinematography. A long and varied programme of other items, particulars of which appear in our advertising colum:.s, will also be included, and we are assured that from every standpoint, the exhibition will be far and away the biggest thing in moving pictures ever attempted in Te Kuiti.
