CRICKET.
The annual meeting of the Marokopa Cricket Club was held on Saturday evening, when there was a good attendance of members. Mr J. Matheson presided. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr E. C. Stanley; vicepresidents, Messrs N. C. Matthew, W. Wiley, Schnackenberg, G. Chase; captain, Mr J. Matheson; vice captain, Mr H. Richards; committee, Messrs J. Kinnaine, J. Willison, P. W. Bell, R. Barlow, P.C.Rose; selection committee, Messrs J. Matheson, H. Richards and P. W. Bell.
It wps decided to fix the membership fee at ss, also to lay down a tar and sawdust pitch.
