BOY SCOUTS.

A meeting of the Boy Scouts committee was held in the Chronicle office on Monday night, the Rev. Wayne in the chair, and Messrs Dines, Mostyn Jones, Morgan, Atkinson and the Rev. Armstrong being present. Mr Dines' resignation was accepted with regret, and the Revs. Wayne and Armstrong appointed Scoutmasters. Mr Atkinson also tendered his resignation as secretary, owing to leaving the district, which was also accepted with regret, and Mr N.Morgan was appointed secretary.

It was decided to write and thank Mr Gillespie for his generous donation on behalf of the funds.

A number of accounts were passed for payment, leaving the organisation free from debt.
