STRIKE AT CARDIFF.
CHINESE LAUNDRIES ATTACKED. ONE HUNDRED HANDS IDLE. Received July 21, 92.5 p.m. By Telegraph..—Press Association.— Copyright London, Yesterday. Work in Cardiff is at a standstill. A hundred vessels are idle. The Lord Mayor has conferred with the shipowners, who consequently made proposals which the men considered. The Lord Mayor is hopeful that these proposals may foim the basis of a settlement. All the Chinese laundries were attacked last night and one burned. The dockers at Barrv have struck.
